I've just heard a friend from Britain ...
Dear Heavenly Father,
In the name of Jesus, we come before you with a heavy heart, lifting up our dear friend SAMV and their request for prayer. We ask for your divine comfort and peace to surround their friend who has passed away in Britain. Lord, we know that you are the God of all comfort, and we ask that you would wrap your loving arms around this friend's loved ones during this difficult time. May your presence bring them solace and strength as they grieve the loss of their dear one.
We also pray, Lord, for peace and restoration of sleep for SAMV. We understand the weight of sorrow and the impact it can have on our minds and bodies. We ask that you would grant them peaceful rest, allowing their weary soul to find solace in your loving embrace. Help them to cast their burdens upon you, knowing that you care for them deeply.
As we bring these requests before you, we are reminded of your promise in Psalm 34:18, which says, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We cling to this promise, knowing that you are near to those who are hurting and that you are faithful to bring comfort and healing.
In Jesus' name, we pray for peace, comfort, and restoration for SAMV and their friend's loved ones. May your love and grace be their guiding light in this time of darkness. Amen.

Let me be a light in this dark world, lifting You up in the lifestyle that I live, because I accepted Your Son, Jesus Christ, as my Savior and Lord of ALL of my life. Let the joy of the Lord be my strength. Protect me God from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
