We understand that you've been struggling with sleep lately, and we're here to stand with you in prayer and to offer some biblical encouragement. You've asked Daddy God to fight for you, and that's a powerful truth. God is indeed our protector and our provider, as it says in Psalm 50:10, "For every animal of the forest is mine, and the livestock on a thousand hills."
Firstly, we commend you for ending your prayer "In Jesus name." This is so important because as it says in John 14:6, Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." And in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." So we agree with you that we can only approach God in Jesus' name.
In your prayer, you mentioned the enemy and curses. Let's look at Ephesians 6:10-12: "Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."
We need to remember that our battle is spiritual, and God has equipped us with spiritual armor. You also mentioned that there is protection in the blood of Jesus. This is true because in Hebrews 13:20-21, "Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought again from the dead the great shepherd of the sheep, our Lord Jesus, make you complete in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our fellow believer who is struggling with sleep. We know that you are our protector and provider, and we claim your promise that you own all the cattle on a thousand hills. We ask that you fight for us, Lord, and deliver us from the enemy's devices. Let all curses of the enemy fall to the ground and be unproductive.
We pray for peaceful sleep and asks that you will help us to rest well, pursuing your will with your strength. We know that the devil seeks to destroy our godly character, but we claim your promise that you will turn this around for your glory.
We put on the whole armor of God, and we ask for your righteous and Godly attorney to help us in this battle. We praise you, Lord, and we ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
Lastly, continue to cast your cares on the Lord, as it says in 1 Peter 5:7, "Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you." Trust that God is at work, even in this situation, and that he will bring it all together for your good and his glory.
