I've got a ### who is listening ...

I've got a boss who is listening to stories from people he doesn't know and using the information to make judgmental decisions about me. The stories fit the narrative he wants to believe about me. Over a month ago I let his boss know he's not listening to me regarding harassment. Hence, he's looking for a way to discredit me. I pray he starts actively listening to me and acting on the harassment I tell him about. I even show him the harassment in writing, but he tells me to move on. I will not be harassed or slandered. I've already filed one written EO complaint against his buddy.

We ask that You would give him the strength and courage to stand up for himself and to speak truth into the situation. Thank you for everyone's prayers and support. This supervisor is a very senior GS-14. There's a bit of a good-old-boy network. One of his supervisors requested EO specialists from another location visit in about a week to conduct training and a listening session. I'm thankful for this.

Let me say that when a supervisor says sexually suggestive things it is VERY upsetting. It is not something I've forgotten, and it is not something counseling erases. I went through counseling. The sexual comments destroy trust. Then, when the senior supervisor blows it off, the workplace becomes a hostile environment. What my previous GS-13 supervisor did besides the sexual remarks is spread gossip to discredit me. That's despicable! So, now I deal with employees from other locations worldwide. One used his elevated IT access to change one of my work assignments. I complained as there's digital evidence of who made the change and the GS-14 told me to "move on."

Sadly, because I'm the new guy with two-years' experience my word means little to those with fifteen plus years of experience. Recently, I've been discredited in a meeting when I called what a stranger said is a lie.
