I’ve been praying for a promotion for over a year now and I keep on getting passed up each time at my work it’s so disappointing.I have more skills in the people that are being elected for the positions and I feel so discouraged and defeated I don’t understand why. My prayer is to get the right promotion My name is Yvonne.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus on behalf of Yvonne, who has been diligently praying for a promotion at work for over a year. Lord, we lift up Yvonne's request to you and ask for your divine intervention in her situation.

Father, you know the skills and abilities that Yvonne possesses, and we believe that she is deserving of the promotion she desires. Your Word tells us in Proverbs 21:1 that "The king's heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will." We ask that you would touch the hearts and minds of those in authority at her workplace, causing them to recognize Yvonne's talents and potential.

Lord, we pray against any discouragement or defeat that Yvonne may be feeling. Your Word assures us in Isaiah 40:31 that "they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." Strengthen Yvonne's spirit and grant her the perseverance to continue seeking your will in this matter.

We also pray for Yvonne's faith to remain steadfast. Help her to trust in your perfect timing and to remember that you are always working behind the scenes for her good. Remind her of the example of Jacob, who wrestled with you until he received your blessing. May Yvonne persist in prayer, knowing that you hear and answer the cries of your children.

Father, we ask that you would open the right doors for Yvonne and grant her the promotion that aligns with your perfect plan for her life. May she experience joy and fulfillment in her work, knowing that it is a result of your favor and provision.

Let Your Word be a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. God bless me with Your favor, knowledge, wisdom, peace, protection, prosperity, strength, and success in all You have called me to do. And bless me to do all You have called me to do in the spirit of excellence for Your glory.

God bless me with the strength, desire, and passion to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Bless me to know You, love You, and live my life to please You. God cleansed me of everything in my life that breaks your heart. Let me be a light in this dark world, lifting You up in the lifestyle that I live. Let the world see that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Lord of ALL of my life. Let the joy of the Lord be my strength. Protect me God from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who truly love me, care about me, want Your best for me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
