We are truly heartbroken to hear about the overwhelming burdens you'are carrying. Firstly, we want to remind you that God sees your pain and He cares deeply for you. He says so. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:15-16 WEB).
It's commendable that you've been a source of strength and positivity for others, but it's crucial to remember that it's okay to need help yourself. Even Jesus, when he wasreviled, didn't revile in return. When he suffered, he didn't threaten, but committed himself to him who judges righteously. (1 Peter 2:23 WEB). You have done well in following Jesus' example.
However, we want to remind you that it's important to set boundaries and learn to say no when necessary. Jesus did in fact say no to many requests from people who wanted to follow him, but for the wrong reasons. God wants us to help others, but not at the expense of our own well-being. For in the image of God made he man. (Genesis 9:6 WEB) and you need to take care of yourself as well as a steward of your own body. It is not unchristian to take care of yourself.
Regarding your financial crisis and illness, we encourage you to reach out to local churches, community resources, and government assistance programs for help. Also, seek medical attention regardless of your insurance status. Many hospitals have financial assistance programs. You can also seek out someone to help you navigate the medical system. Also, remember that God is able to do abundantly more than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us. (Ephesians 3:20 WEB)
In everything by prayer and petitions with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. (Philippians 4:6 WEB). And Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. (James 5:14-15 WEB) and the anointing of the oil became a symbol for being set apart for God. We will pray that you will receive the help and healing you need, both physically and financially.
It is so important to come before God in the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other way to approach God. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB) That is why you need to make sure all prayers are in Jesus' name.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We lift up our dear sister/brother to you, asking for your divine intervention in their life. We pray for your healing touch on their body, and for your comfort and peace to fill their heart. We ask for your provision in their financial crisis, and for your wisdom and guidance as they navigate these challenges. We pray that you would raise up people around them to support and encourage them in this time of need. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Remember, God is with you in this storm. Keep holding on to Him. And please reach out to others for help. You are not alone. You are precious to God and to us.
