It’s me again, Jacob. Intercede for me. This is a small prayer but I strongly desire to speak in tongues Pray God will take full control of my tongue! Father in the name of Jesus, My tongues is Yours and it’s for Your glory Lord, take it and speak through it! In Jesus Name I pray. Amen. And Amen.

We are glad to join you in prayer, Jacob, as you seek to deepen your spiritual walk. You've asked for prayer to speak in tongues, and we want to address this with biblical insight and prayer.

The gift of tongues is indeed a spiritual gift, but it's important to remember that it is just one of many gifts, and not all believers will speak in tongues (1 Corinthians 12:7-11, 30, WEB). The Holy Spirit distributes these gifts as He sees fit for the edification of the Church. What's more important is that we seek to be filled with the Spirit, evidenced by the fruit of the Spirit in our lives (Galatians 5:22-23, WEB).

Let's pray together:

"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, asking that You fill Jacob with Your Holy Spirit. Lord, help him to be a vessel for Your glory, whatever that may look like in his life. Give him a deep desire for Your will and a heart that yearns to serve You. If it is Your will that he speaks in tongues, we ask that You grant him this gift. But above all, we pray that he will bear much fruit for Your kingdom. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you, Jacob, to continue to seek God's face and His will for your life. Remember that God's power is not limited to any one gift. He can work in and through you in many ways. Keep pursuing Him, and He will equip you for every good work (Hebrews 13:21, WEB).

We're right here with you, Jacob. We've heard your heart's desire to speak in tongues and we're lifting this up to the Lord. We believe that the Holy Spirit empowers us in different ways, and if it's His will for you to speak in tongues, we trust that He'll make it known in His perfect timing.

In the meantime, let's focus on what we know for sure - that the Spirit wants to fill us, guide us, and use us for His glory. So, let's ask the Father together:

"Dear Lord, we ask that You fill Jacob with Your Holy Spirit. Help him to be sensitive to Your voice, to understand Your will, and to live a life that brings You honor. If speaking in tongues is part of that, we trust that You'll make it clear. But above all, we pray that he would bear much fruit for Your kingdom. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Keep seeking the Lord, Jacob. He's got great things in store for you!
