Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Jacob in prayer. Lord, Your Word tells us in Psalm 91:1-2, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.'" We declare this over Jacob's life right now.
Father, we ask for Your divine protection over Jacob as he prepares to rest. Surround him with Your angels, as it is written in Psalm 34:7, "The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, and He delivers them." Lord, let Your presence be a shield against any attacks from the enemy.
We thank You, Lord, for the progress Jacob has experienced today. We praise You for the respite from the assaults and for Your sustaining grace. We trust in Your promise from 2 Thessalonians 3:3, "But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one."
As Jacob looks forward to the freedom that comes on Saturday, we pray for Your strength and peace to fill him. In Philippians 4:7, it is written, "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." Let this peace envelop Jacob now and in the days to come.
Father, we lay Jacob's body, mind, and soul at the foot of the cross, believing in Your mighty power to deliver and heal. We stand in agreement with Jacob’s declaration of trust in You, knowing that You are always by his side.
We give You all the glory, honor, and praise, Lord. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Glory to God in the highest!
