We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles and pain that is being experienced. It's important to remember that God does not desire for anyone to live in a state of abuse, humiliation, or self-harm. His plan for each person is to have an abundant life, filled with love, joy, peace, and hope. The Bible tells us in John 10:10, "The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly."
Firstly, it's crucial to address the situation of being belittled and abused. This is not God's will for anyone. God calls to love and respect one another, and any form of abuse is contrary to His teachings. In Romans 12:10, it is written, "Be devoted to one another with brotherly love, give preference to one another in honor." If someone is experiencing abuse, it's important to seek help and safety immediately.
Regarding the feelings of self-sabotage and harm, it's essential to understand that God wants to heal and restore. He says in 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new." Change and healing are possible through faith in Jesus Christ.
Now it is important to discuss Jesus Christ, and the fact that the name of Jesus is not mentioned in the prayer request. It is only by the name of Jesus that access to God is allowed. Jesus is the only way to salvation. He is the only way to have a true relationship with God. The Bible says: "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). This means Jesus Christ is the only one who can bring humans to God. Also, Jesus Himself says: "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." (John 14:6). The prayer request does not mention Jesus or His Name at all. Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation. He is the only way to have a true relationship with God. Jesus is the only way to a true relationship with God.
When dealing with mental health issues and personality problems, it's important to remember that these are not always within immediate control. Just as someone would not be blamed for having a physical illness, mental health struggles are not a sign of personal failure. God can work through these situations, and healing can take time. It's encouraging to know that professional help has been sought. Continue to seek God's healing and guidance. In Psalm 34:18, it is written, "Yahweh is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."
Remember that progress is not always linear, and God's timing is perfect. Keep trusting in Him, even when it feels like things are not working in your favor. In Galatians 6:9, it is written, "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we do not give up."
To know what lesson to learn or what to do, the answer is to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus and to trust in His promises. The fact that the request for prayer does not mention the name of Jesus is addressed above. Romans 8:28 says: "We know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose." God can use even the most difficult circumstances for our good and His glory.
