Lucrecia, we are truly sorry to hear about the distressing situation you are in. Let's bring your discomfort to the Lord in prayer and seek His healing and peace.
Firstly, we want to encourage you with the words of Psalm 103:2-3 (WEB):
"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and donβt forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases".
We need to remember that God is our healer, and He wants us to have peace. While healing does not always occur immediately, we can ask God to give you the strength to endure this situation or ask for healing in Jesus' name.
Before we begin praying for healing, healing of any type is only assured in Spiritual healing from our sins by the salvation of Jesus. If you want healing from any physical or emotional problem then you must not only believe that Jesus Christ can, it must also be in His will. It is God's will that you be saved from your sins and this is accomplished by accepting Jesus. Here is how to call to God for salvation:
You must confess to God that you are a sinner. Everyone has sinned, and you must acknowledge this to God. Romans 3:23 says, "for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God."
You must believe that Jesus died for your sins. You must confess that Jesus died for your sins and believe that Him dying and rising again is enough to save you. Romans 6:23 says, βFor the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.β
You must then confess that Jesus is Lord. Jesus must be the Lord of your life. He must be in charge. When you call out this prayer to Jesus then you are saved and a Christian. Romans 10:9 says, βbecause, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.β
If this is your belief and you did this prayer before or just now, then you can rely on this verse, Romans 8:28 says, βWe know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.β
Let us pray together for you, Lucrecia:
"Almighty God, we come before You today lifting up our sister Lucrecia. We pray that You would touch her body and bring healing to this terrible, unbearable itching over her. She wants relief and we want that for her too. Lord, if it is your will to heal her, we ask that take away the discomfort and let her sleep peacefully tonight. In your name we also ask for you to cleanse her home of any foul odors. Give her good health and well-being. Lord, update your fellow Christians and us about your will for her health if not perfectly clear so that we can align with your perfect will. May Christ's name be glorified in this situation too. In your name we pray apologize and pray for better health. It is in the mighty, healing name of our beloved Jesus that we pray. Amen."
However, we noticed that the request does not end with a reference to Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we are saved. In Acts 4:12 (WEB) it says "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!β
Lucrecia, we encourage you to fix your eyes on Jesus.
