Itching back, keeping me awake

Please pray for me, the persistent intolerable itching is attacking my body. Dr prescribed new cream and reduced my meds. Cream dr gave me not touching it. I’m scratching and that’s making it worse, Help dear Lord Jesus.

We understand that you're going through a challenging time with persistent itching that's disrupting your sleep. We're here to pray and offer some biblical encouragement for you.

Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the Lord Jesus Christ in your request. It's important to remember that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we should take care of them. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB:

"Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's."

In times of physical discomfort, it's essential to turn to God for strength and healing. We pray for your healing and comfort, trusting in the promises of God. Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You, lifting up Lyruothirlath who is suffering from persistent itching that's keeping them awake. We pray for Your healing touch upon their body. We ask that the cream prescribed by the doctor would be effective and that the reduced medication would not have any adverse effects. Please guide the doctors, and if there's any other underlying issue, we pray that it would be revealed and treated.

In the meantime, we pray for strength and patience for Lyruothirlath. Help them to endure this trial and to trust in You. We pray that they would be able to rest and sleep well, despite the discomfort. Remind them of Your presence and Your promises. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

While you're going through this, remember that God is sovereign, and He allows trials in our lives for a purpose. As it is written in Romans 8:28 WEB:

"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."

Trust that God is working even in this situation. Also, remember that God cares about every detail of our lives, even the seemingly small things like itching. As it is written in Matthew 10:29-31 WEB:

"Aren't two sparrows sold for an assarion coin? Not one of them falls on the ground apart from your Father's will, but the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Therefore don't be afraid. You are of more value than many sparrows."

Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue seeking God and praying in Jesus' name. It's only through Jesus that we have access to God, and it's only through His name that we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB:

"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

If you haven't already, consider using this time to draw closer to God, to read His Word, and to pray. He's always with you, even in the midst of discomfort.

Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
