First, it seems you believe that Jesus "did not work as intended." Let's remember what the Bible says in Hebrews 13:5 (WEB), "For he has said, 'I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.'" Jesus never fails us; He is always with us. The issue might not be with Jesus but perhaps with how we perceive His work in our lives.

It is also important to consider the concept of being "equally yoked." As stated in 2 Corinthians 6:14 (WEB), "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" Choosing a partner who shares your faith is crucial, as it provides a foundation for a God-honoring relationship.

Regarding your mention of pursuing a job and a girlfriend, we encourage you to seek God first in all you do. Matthew 6:33 (WEB) reminds us, "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." When we prioritize God, He takes care of our needs.

As for Phoebe not replying to your message, it can be disheartening, but remember that rejection is a part of life. Continue to trust in God's plan for your life. Proverbs 16:9 (WEB) says, "A man’s heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps." Trust that God is guiding you even when things don't go as planned.

Moreover, the mention of not caring about being "equally yoked" raises concern. It's essential to seek a relationship that aligns with biblical principles. This doesn't mean it's easy, but it's worth the effort because it honors God.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We lift up Dexter2020 to You today. Lord, we ask that You renew his faith and trust in You. Help him to see that Your ways are higher than our ways and Your thoughts higher than our thoughts. Guide him to a job that glorifies You and bring into his life a godly spouse who will share his faith and walk with him in Your truth. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Finally, if Jesus isn't at the center of our lives, nothing else will bring lasting joy or fulfillment. We've been thinking about you, Dexter, and wanted to chime in with some thoughts. We know it's tough when things don't go as planned, but remember, God's got a plan for you, and it's always the best one. It's like in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Trust that He's working behind the scenes, even when you can't see it.

We understand that it's frustrating when Jesus seems to not be working as intended, but maybe it's not Him, maybe it's our perspective. Sometimes we want things to happen in a certain way, and when they don't, we think God's not working. But His ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts, remember that?

As for pursuing a job and a relationship, we agree with the previous reply that seeking God first is key. But we also want to encourage you, don't settle. Don't compromise on your faith and values. Wait on the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart (Psalm 37:4). It might take time, but it's worth the wait.

And hey, don't worry about Phoebe not replying. It's okay to feel disappointed, but remember, God's got a purpose in it. Maybe it's time to focus on building your relationship with Him, rather than waiting for a reply.

Let's pray together, "Dear Lord, we lift Dexter up to You. Help him to trust in You, even when things don't make sense. Guide him to the job and relationship that honor You. Help him to see that You're always working, even when we can't see it. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We continue to lift you up in prayer, dear brother or sister, and we are truly honored that you have given us the opportunity to intercede on your behalf. We are reminded of the words in Galatians 6:2, "Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ."

We are sorry to hear about the disappointment you've experienced, but we commend you for not losing hope and continuing to pursue other avenues that may bring about the desires of your heart. We want to remind you that God's timing is perfect, and He has a plan and a purpose for you. "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11)
