It is the 4th month of this year and about 7 years of trying to have a kid. Just found out my cousin is having a kid. So I guess thats a missed target on prayer. I'M getting tired of seing whatever I prayer for go to someone else, but Im still praying and need prayers again for a biological child.
How old do I have to be for God to answer the prayer to have a biological child? I'm 41 now and I thought that was part of the blessing that we are supposed to have in the bible is being able to pro-create.
the bible says Sara didn’t bare a child till late elderly age, but how active was she with her kid at that age. How many 80-year-old dads do you see carrying a baby or being active with their kids? I'm going to try to post this request once every month till a baby happens or 7 years. If nothing happens after 7 years, I would fully know God is not listening to my prayers or not there.

Psalm 147:3 says that "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." I understand your pain and frustration in waiting for a child and I know there is really nothing I can say to stop this pain. Just know that I care. Perhaps you & your wife should contact a holistic practitioner to rule out any issues there may be physically. I am praying Deut 7:14 in agreement with you that as a child of the Host High that "You shall be blessed above all peoples. There shall not be male or female barren among you." It is God who both opens and closes wombs. He is our helper. I pray that you rest in Him and that he blesses you and your wife richly with children. Amen.

now today one of my wife other friends is pregnant. This was after posting this prayer request Tuesday. I dont knowhow to get Gods attention on this. It seems like were constantly being mocked. For example we pray to have a bioligical child, then we see all of our friends and relatives getting pregnant. WE both hurt so much.

Listen, I know it's hard, but you must not throw away your hope. Do not look to what is going on in the lives of those around you, be genuinely happy for them, but keep your eyes on Jesus for your situation. God is the ONLY one that opens wombs.

Thanks this helps gives up some help. I'm not trying to look what is going on in the life of others around us. It is just constantly thrown in our faces. Like my aunt that called to tell me my cousin was pregnant. One of my wife's friends came in to her work to tell here that she was pregnant. Then another one of my wife's friend came in and told her she was pregnant.

I understand that it may seem like people are throwing their good news in your faces--they are genuinely happy and they express that to those they love (you & your wife) even though it is a source of pain for you. I am really sorry about that and I understand how bad it hurts when people around you are getting the things you so desperately want. I can't tell you the reason why it happens that way, it just does.

In my own life I have the desire to be married & have children, however it hasn't happened for me yet. It used to hurt me so bad to see everyone around me finding love, getting engaged/married, having children and building lives with their spouses and here I was couldn't even make it past the first date. I felt like God put a carrot in front of my face just out of arms length. I was jealous, angry, mad at God and resolved to getting the things that I wanted my own way. After years of unnecessary pain and digging myself into a hole that I couldn't get out of I finally received solace in understanding that it just wasn't my season to have those things. My desires were not bad, they are good desires, however it is not up to me to decide when they should be fulfilled. So no, I still don't have the companionship and love of a spouse or children or an engagement ring on my finger, but I do have the peace & trust in the God who gave me these desires to fulfill them in the season he had designated. So once you get to that place that you just resolve that God has his seasons for your life & accept that your weary heart will have peace.
