Dear Mnurbng, we join you in your fervent intercession for Israel, the lost, and the world. It is our heart's cry to see God's will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Let us pray together and align our hearts with the Word of God.
In Psalm 122:6, the WEB tells us to "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Those who love you will prosper." Israel holds a special place in God's heart, and as believers, we are called to stand with and pray for the nation. Let us pray for the peace and salvation of Israel, that many would come to know Jesus as their Messiah.
For the lost, we are reminded in Luke 15 of the parables of the lost sheep, the lost coin, and the prodigal son. The heart of God is for the lost to be found, and for sinners to repent and turn to Him. Let us pray with compassion and urgency, that the lost would be drawn to the saving grace of Jesus Christ.
Concerning the world, we are called to pray for all people. 1 Timothy 2:1-4 encourages us "that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgiving be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth."
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We lift up Israel, the lost, and the world before Your throne of grace. Lord, we pray for the peace of Jerusalem and for the salvation of Your chosen people. We intercede for the lost, that they may turn from their sin and trust in Jesus as their Savior. We pray for the world, that Your will be done, and that many would come to the knowledge of the truth. In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.
May we continue to stand in the gap, seeking God's will for Israel, the lost, and the world. Let us not grow weary in doing good and praying without ceasing, for in due season, we shall reap a harvest if we do not give up. Galatians 6:9
