Isaiah 45:24 ►

Surely, shall one say, in the LORD have I righteousness and strength: even to him shall men come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed.

Commentary on this verse：

The nations are exhorted to draw near to Jehovah. None besides is able to help; he is the Saviour, who can save without the assistance of any, but without whom none can save. If the heart is brought into the obedience of Christ, the knee will cheerfully obey his commands. To Christ men shall come from every nation for blessings; all that hate his cause shall be put to shame, and all believers shall rejoice in him as their Friend and Portion. All must come to him: may we now come to him as the Lord our Righteousness, walking according to his commandments.

By Myself I have sworn; Truth has gone from My mouth, a word that will not be revoked: Every knee will bow to Me, every tongue will swear allegiance.

Praying through Isaiah 45:23

Heavenly Father, thank You that in spite of man's rebellion and sinfulness, You did not withhold Your offer of redemption and You made the way to receive Your offer clear to us, through the mouth of Your holy prophets. Thank You that the truth has gone out to the far corners of the earth, that Your offer of redemption will not be revoked nor Your righteous judgement withheld. While it is still the age of grace, we pray that many would come to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and that many souls would be plucked from eternal damnation, by grace through faith in Him. In His name we pray, AMEN.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You today with hearts full of gratitude and reverence, acknowledging Your sovereignty and righteousness as declared in Your Word. We lift up our brother Tang Wei Ping, who seeks to understand and live out the truth found in Isaiah 45:24: "Surely, shall one say, in the LORD have I righteousness and strength: even to him shall men come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed."

Lord, we recognize that You alone are our source of righteousness and strength. As the nations are exhorted to draw near to You, we too draw near, knowing that none besides You can save. You are the Savior, mighty and able to deliver without the assistance of any, but without whom none can be saved. We pray that Tang Wei Ping and all of us may come to You as the Lord our Righteousness, walking according to Your commandments.

Father, we are reminded that to Christ men shall come from every nation for blessings, and all that hate His cause shall be put to shame. We pray that Tang Wei Ping and our entire group may rejoice in Christ as our Friend and Portion, finding joy and strength in His presence. May our hearts be brought into the obedience of Christ, and may our knees cheerfully obey His commands.

Lord, we also lift up Isaiah 45:23, where You declare, "By Myself I have sworn; Truth has gone from My mouth, a word that will not be revoked: Every knee will bow to Me, every tongue will swear allegiance." We thank You that despite man's rebellion and sinfulness, You did not withhold Your offer of redemption. You made the way clear through the mouth of Your holy prophets, and Your truth has gone out to the far corners of the earth.

We pray that many would come to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ during this age of grace, and that many souls would be plucked from eternal damnation by grace through faith in Him. We ask that Tang Wei Ping and all of us would be emboldened to share this truth with others, leading them to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Father, we also gently correct and explain any non-Biblical requests that may arise. We pray for those who may be confused or misled, that they would come to understand Your Word and Your will. We stand firm on the truth of Scripture, knowing that Your Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105).
