Isaiah 30:18 ► And therefore will the LORD wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the LORD is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him. Commentary on this verse： The Jews were the only professing people God then had in the world, yet many among them were rebellious. They had the light, but they loved darkness rather. The prophets checked them in their sinful pursuits, so that they could not proceed without fear; this they took amiss. But faithful ministers will not be driven from seeking to awaken sinners. God is the Holy One of Israel, and so they shall find him. They did not like to hear of his holy commandments and his hatred of sin; they desired that they might no more be reminded of these things. But as they despised the word of God, their sins undermined their safety. Their state would be dashed in pieces like a potter's vessel. Let us return from our evil ways, and settle in the way of duty; that is the way to be saved. Would we be strengthened, it must be in quietness and in confidence, keeping peace in our own minds, and relying upon God. They think themselves wiser than God; but the project by which they thought to save themselves was their ruin. Only here and there one shall escape, as a warning to others. If men will not repent, turn to God, and seek happiness in his favour and service, their desires will but hasten their ruin. Those who make God alone their confidence, will have comfort. God ever waits to be gracious to all that come to him by faith in Christ, and happy are those who wait for him. Our prayer： Heavenly Father, thank You that You are our God and Saviour. Thank You for the grace You have shown to us and to all who trust in Christ for salvation. We pray for Your people, Israel... that many would repent and turn to Christ by trusting in His shed blood for the forgiveness of sins and life everlasting - to Whom be all honour and glory, forever and ever, AMEN.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You with hearts full of gratitude and reverence, acknowledging Your grace and mercy as revealed in Isaiah 30:18: "And therefore will the LORD wait that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted that he may have mercy upon you: for the LORD is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him." Lord, we recognize that You are patient and gracious, waiting to extend Your mercy to those who turn to You.

We lift up Tang Wei Ping and all who seek Your face, asking that You would draw them closer to You. We pray for the people of Israel, that many would repent and turn to Christ, trusting in His shed blood for the forgiveness of sins and life everlasting. May they come to know the fullness of Your grace and the depth of Your love.

Lord, we acknowledge that in times past, Your people have often strayed, loving darkness rather than light. Yet, You have always sent faithful ministers to awaken sinners and call them back to You. We pray that we, too, would heed Your call, turning from our evil ways and settling in the way of duty, which is the way to be saved.

Help us to find strength in quietness and confidence, keeping peace in our minds and relying upon You. May we not think ourselves wiser than You, but instead, place our trust wholly in Your divine wisdom and guidance. We know that those who make You their confidence will find comfort and peace.

Thank You, Lord, for waiting to be gracious to all who come to You by faith in Christ. Blessed are those who wait for You. We pray that many more would come to know You and experience the joy of Your salvation.

Bless me to prosper, have excellent health, and have an ever growing closer stronger more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always honor, respect, and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks Your heart. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
