Is sin hereditary?

We know that we all inherited sin from Adam and Eves rebellion. We know that much, BUT I noticed in 3 or 4 different familys a certain tendency, and I wonder if it's more than coincidence, if there's something to it.Let's see.I mean, certain SPECIFIC sins that seem to run wild in certain familys,whereas other familys may not have that SPECIFIC sin. Examples? Well, there was this family I knew,almost every last one of them was into the occult, they would get together and hold seances,go to spiritist camps,see "gurus", etc.Really into the "deep things of Satan",as the Bible puts it.But you know what?They also received the same judgement, they all died of the same disease, leukemia.Coincidence?Okay, not enough to make us question, there was another family I know who,their "sin of choice" was drugs, and conning people out of money{including each other.}There was also a family who, the whole family was into some kind of illegal activity.Another family I know,, they make a habit out of going through life mooching off of everyone instead of trying to be independent.{They mooch off each other, too.}Sooo….the question to me becomes, although we all have general sin, I notice that certain whole familys seem to have a leaning towards the SAME sin, is that more than coincidence,like a "hereditary" factor, like whereas some "inherit" brown eyes, does being in a certain family give you a tendency towards x sin?Like, the devil misleads the whole family with the same exact sin,why, because that family has a tendency towards the sin, and the devil knows it? If not, then why do these familys I mentioned all lean towards the same specific sin?Somehow think it's more than coincidence.

I believe sin is hereditary and is passed down the generations spiritually and trough the exsample of parents to children.

This passing down of tendencies and habits is quite natural since children first learn by watching their parents and doing after their exsample. Even when we grow up it's hard to let go off those models of action we have learned from our parents.

I see this in action in my family and in many other families. Spefically in the woman's family. In her family a certain model of action and certain sin is clearly to be seen.

I do believe devil and his servant's take advantage of this that certain tendecies pass down to generation's. I have also read that there are generarional curses and family demon's or spirits that pass down in the family until someone cut's them off. This goes under spiritual warfare gategory.

I do believe that there is hedetitary sin, curses and spirits. As far as my wisdom goes I would say that a sin passing down generations is a sum of many things.

In my life I have seen far too many families where a certain sin bothers all members. In my work on healthcare I see this a lot. I have done work whit different kind of people but exspecially on susbtance abuse like alcoholism, drugs etc. seems to be something that has passed on from paretnts as learned model off beheavior. If my memory serves me correctly there is some studies that tendecy to addiction is herited in genes.

Would devil use herited tendecies or learned models from paretns as advantage? Well I think yes.

The soul that sinneth it shall die... says the Lord. So, if your parents and grand parents sin against the Lord they shall give an account for what what they have done here on earth. Now, if we sin just like them, lying, swearing, stealing and cursing, then we, personally shall give an account to God for what we have done here on earth. Each person shall give an account to God for what they said and done. But, on the other hand, if you live a holy and pure life just like your parents did, you shall be blessed here on earth and will have a wonderful time in heaven, with Jesus for ever and ever. You post this same type of questions over and over again buddy. Are you not satisfied that we all sin every single day and that we all sinned in the loins of Adam right along with him? Did not Christ say that your Father's killed the prophets and now you want to kill me? Does not the Word of God say that God will visit the sins of us unto the 3rd and 4th generations?

Why not rather pray for the sinners than tell us about their specific sins Steven?

Are you a blessed son unto your mother as unto Jesus? I haven't ever once seen you post a prayer for her like; oh Lord Jesus open my mother's eyes to see You, to know You and convict her to follow You and lead her away from darkness in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Did not Christ say that your Father's killed the prophets and now you want to kill me? Does not the Word of God say that God will visit the sins of us unto the 3rd and 4th generations?

I read that the enemy knows what sins someone is likely to commit and provides the opportunity for it. If a person has alcoholic family members, the enemy may tempt a young person with that .so yes, sins run in families as do Spirits that must be renounced in Spiritual Warfare. For example I had a Freemason in my family. I said " Father forgive me the sins of my ancestors. Cleanse me from any generational sin. Protect me and cover me with the Blood of Jesus." I was water baptized in February. Since I did extensive prayer similar to this, my prayer life and relationship with God has changed for the better tremendously. Yes. Generations of the same sin continue unless The Chain is Broken. There is Power in the Name of Jesus to Break Every Chain.

I would even say that applies to whole nations as well. I've seen that too, certain nationalities who seem to lean towards a certain sin more than other nationalities do.
