Is "passing the blame" a fallen nature trait?

We read of some of the works of the fallen nature,"The works of the flesh are many, and they are..". But one thing I've noticed among unsaved people is, instead of admitting their own responsiblity in things, they like to "palm it off" on "the other one".This has been done to me a few times.I believe it's done to clear them of any guilt, by making a scapegoat.Like , recently, I mailed something for someone through Fedex, and she mistakenly put one item in the "send off' pile" to be placed in the envelope. So I didn't have instuctions otherwise, so I sent it out, after which when she found out she "freaked out".She admitted it was a mistake to put it there, but of course!!blames me more for it then herself.{Like, how was I supposed to know?}Also, there's this old lady I deal with, who has an obviously defective walker, where one of the side wires wraps around something , and it paralyzes one wheel so that it doesn't move. The fact that it's happening over and over again shows there's something wrong with the walker. Yet Scapegoat Steven gets the blame."Why do I always 'do this' to her, what do I do to the walker, etc. She even tells that lie to others,I always do that to the walker.{Hey lady, take responsibility for the fact that you have a defective walker, and stop "pointing the finger" at others. Hey other lady, admit you put the wrong thing in the package, and stop blaming me for not being a mindreader. {Among other cases I could quote where I was made "the fall guy" for someone elses mistakes, etc.}Now, looking at this , we see that this habit has been around since the Garden,"The woman You gave me gave me the fruit,""The serpent decieved me and so I ate".Sure...but at least accept responsibility for your own part in it, instead of "passing the buck" to ease your conscience. "The Jews had Jesus killed" .Blame the Romans, they made the decision."It was Judas'fault"You know what? It was all of us, because since man fell, and we couldn't get into Heaven otherwise, ..for one to blame the other'..So.. is "passing the buck" making a scapegoat to blame to ease your own conscience, a fallen nature flaw, and in fact a sin? I think so. It's not being honest, and not accepting responsiblity for your own part in it.Won't work at the the Great White Throne judgement, though. They'll be judged individually, and their "palming it off on someone else" won't work.

I'm sure you are familiar with the first words spoken by mankind after their disobedience to God in Gen 3 --

12 "And the man answered, “The woman whom You gave me, she gave me fruit from the tree, and I ate it.”

13 Then the LORD God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?”

“The serpent deceived me,” she replied, “and I ate.”

Yes, I quoted that in the post. This is a pattern that has been going on since the fall!

The devil will make you do what you really do not want to do. If you do it, then you will pass the blame on someone else. Remember, we shall give an account to God of what we have done here on earth. Be careful on what you say. Do not curses come out of your mouth. Do not blame others of what you have done. Ask forgiveness and mercy from the Lord. He will hear from heaven and heal your troubled soul.
