Since my father lost his job in 2016, the financial situation of my family has steadily been declining as each year passes by. My mother is a housewife, unable to obtain any job due to her lack of tertiary education. Currently, my father is barely able to financially sustain himself and, as a result, my parents along with my younger siblings made the decision to move to stay on a farm to support themselves. As a result, during my first year of university in 2019, my father was unable to pay my fees placing me in huge debt. Because of this, I was forced to obtain a job in order to pay the outstanding debt.

I am the only earning member of my family and I lost my job at the beginning of 2020 due to the worldwide pandemic. While I had full intentions of clearing my debt, I reached a point last year where I was unable to even pay my rent in my small apartment, and my physical and mental health took a huge dip as a result of my situation. I couldn't work for 8 months, thus I am still in huge student debt.

Last month, I received a job that pays me enough money to fund my studies this year while offering me sufficient time to focus on my studies, however, I am in desperate need of financial assistance to cover my outstanding debt. I am a student who strives for greatness and I have a vision to better the lives of my town and the world at large. Education is not just a necessity but a key to open doors for the future of young individuals. Why should I be hindered by the opportunity of a successful future based on financial barriers that were out of my control? Not only am I a passionate and dedicated student, but I am also an asset to the university - a vessel meant to positively influence the globe at large.

For months, I've been praying for breakthroughs and financial blessing. Will you join me in prayer?

Prayer Focus: God I ask You in Jesus' name today and for always protect all those I love, care about, the writer of this prayer, and myself from Covid-19. Show us how and let us all do what is needed to stay safe and protected. And God bless each of us with the desires of our hearts that is the will of God for each of our lives. God cause us to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Heal us Lord Jesus in every area of our lives. Make us whole in You. Help us all to keep our focus on You, trust You, walk in the faith, love, truth, peace, security, wisdom, and joy of Your Word. May we greet each day with a heart of thanksgiving, praise, and gratitude unto You for who You are, all You have done, and will do in our lives. Help us, show us how, and bless each of us with knowledge, wisdom, and a strong persistent desire to fulfill our God's purpose (the reason why You created each of us). And God please encamp Your angels all around us to protect us all from all sickness, evil, hurt, harm, danger, accidents, the plans of our enemies, and the plans of the enemy of our souls. God forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so. Thank You Jesus.
