Let's continue to support one another in prayer, knowing that God is close to the brokenhearted (Ps 34:18). Every prayer matters, and every need is heard by Him. Keep the faith and keep praying!
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear friend ### who is suffering from irritable bowel syndrome. Lord, we know that You are the Great Physician and that nothing is too difficult for You. We ask for Your healing touch upon ###'s body, that You would bring relief from pain and discomfort, and restore their health completely.
Your Word says in 1 Peter 2:24, "By His wounds you have been healed." We claim this promise for ###, believing that through the stripes of Jesus, healing is available. We pray for wisdom for the doctors and caregivers, that they may provide the best care possible.
Lord, we also ask for peace and comfort for ### during this time. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us to be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let our requests be made known to You. And Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your perfect will and timing. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
