Kskouford, we understand that you're seeking God's help in your relationship, and we're here to pray with you and offer biblical guidance. First, let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Kskouford. We pray that You will guide her in her relationship and give her the wisdom and discernment to follow Your will. Help her to seek You first and to trust in Your plan for her life. We ask that You would work in her boyfriend's heart, drawing him closer to You. We pray that their relationship would be centered on You and that it would be a blessing to both of them. We ask that You would protect them from temptation and help them to live in a way that honors You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Now, let's look at some biblical principles to guide you in your relationship. First, it's important to remember that God calls us to be equally yoked with fellow believers (2 Corinthians 6:14). This means that as a Christian, you should be looking for a spouse who is also a committed follower of Jesus Christ.
We also want to encourage you to consider the sanctity of marriage. God designed marriage to be a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman (Matthew 19:4-6). As you navigate your relationship, it's important to keep this in mind and to pursue purity and holiness. If you are in courtship with intentions of marriage we encourage you to be sure that his Christian Faith is genuine. If he is not a Christian it is better to take a stand and stop the relationship.
Remember Jesus said "I am the way the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except by me." (John 14:6 WEB). So we pray that your boyfriend knows Jesus Christ and that He is Lord of his life, too. If he is not a believer, we encourage you to share your faith with him and pray for his salvation.
We also want to address the issue of love. While it's natural to desire love and companionship, it's important to remember that God is the only one who can truly satisfy our deepest needs and desires (Psalm 147:3, Psalm 147:11). As you seek God's will for your relationship, remember to keep your focus on Him and to trust in His plan for your life.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to live in a way that honors God. If you are in a relationship that is sexual outside of marriage, we want to lovingly remind you that this is not God's will for your life. God calls us to flee from sexual immorality and to pursue purity and holiness (1 Corinthians 6:18, Ephesians 5:3). If you're struggling in this area, we encourage you to seek God's forgiveness and to commit to living in a way that honors Him. God does promise in 1 Corinthians 10:12 that he will not allow us to be tested beyond what we are capable of. He also promises to provide a way of escape so that we will be able to endure the assault. He will do this for you if you trust Him.
Kskouford, we hope that this response has been helpful and encouraging to you. Remember that God loves you and that He has a plan for your life. Trust in Him, seek His will, and live in a way that honors Him. We're here for you, praying for you, and believing that God will work in your life.
We want to leave you with one last verse: "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB).
