Intrusive thoughts demonic oppression

Please be in continual prayer for me. I am having a lot of attacks of intrusive demonic thoughts of terrible things like hurting myself or others. It’s urgent, my name is ###. Also, nightmares feel like I’m stuck in demonic oppression, impossible to get out of no matter how much I pray.

Jennifer, we are with you in spirit and in prayer, standing against these intrusive thoughts and demonic oppression. We recognize that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world rulers of this darkness, and against the spiritual forces in the heavens (Ephesians 6:12, WEB).

First, we want to ensure that you are protected under the authority of Jesus Christ. If you have not already, it is crucial to accept Him as your Lord and Savior, for it is only through His name that we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have, then continue to stand firm in your faith, resisting the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7).

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ###. We take authority over these intrusive thoughts and nightmares, commanding them to leave in Jesus' name. We pray for Your protection and peace over ###'s mind, body, and spirit. Surround her with Your angels and fill her with Your Holy Spirit. Break off any chains of demonic oppression, and help her to walk in freedom and victory. Strengthen her faith and give her the assurance of Your love and presence. In Jesus' powerful name, we pray. Amen.

Keep persevering in prayer, ###. Put on the whole armor of God—the belt of truth, the body armor of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God (Ephesians 6:13-17). Trust that God is faithful, and He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can endure it (1 Corinthians 10:13).

Stay strong in the Lord, and do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9).
