Dexterkoh, we understand your concern about the introduction of more foreign gods and the increase in foreign population for diversity and inclusion by the PAP. We must remember that God is sovereign over all nations and governments, and His will ultimately prevails.
Firstly, we must address that the introduction of more foreign gods is a spiritual issue that goes against the biblical principle of having no other gods before the one true God. As it is written in Exodus 20:3-5 WEB, "You shall have no other gods before me. You shall not make for yourselves an idol, nor any image of anything that is in the heavens above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: you shall not bow yourself down to them, nor serve them, for I, Yahweh your God, am a jealous God."
We must also address that the promotion of diversity and inclusion at the expense of biblical truth is not God's will. While we are to love and reach out to all people, regardless of their background, we must not compromise our faith or blend it with other beliefs. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 6:14-16 WEB, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness? What agreement has Christ with Belial? Or what portion has a believer with an unbeliever?"
As for praying for the PAP to be overthrown in the next election, we must be careful to align our prayers with God's will. While God can use elections to bring about change, we must ultimately pray for His will to be done and for His kingdom to come. We should pray that God would raise up godly leaders who would honor Him and govern according to His principles.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, acknowledging that You are the Lord of all nations and governments. We pray for the people of Singapore, that You would protect them from the introduction of foreign gods and keep them from bowing down to idols. We pray that You would give Your people discernment and boldness to stand up for biblical truth, even in the face of pressure to compromise. We pray for the upcoming elections, that Your will would be done and that You would raise up godly leaders who would honor You and govern according to Your principles. We pray all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, who is the only way to salvation and the only mediator between God and men.
Dexterkoh, we also encourage you to continue to pray for your nation and its leaders, and to seek God's will in all things. Remember that our ultimate citizenship is in heaven, and that our hope is in God, not in earthly governments. As it is written in Philippians 3:20 WEB, "For our citizenship is in heaven, from where we also wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ."
