๐Ÿ™ Hello Lyruerpeurance! Welcome! We're glad you joined us. If you have any prayer requests, please share. Remember, God is near to all who call on Him (Ps 145:18). We're here for you in Jesus' name! ๐Ÿ’–
We understand your desire to improve the intimacy in your marriage, and we're here to support you in prayer and counsel. Let's first remember what the Word of God says about marriage and intimacy.

In the World English Bible (WEB), Ephesians 5:25-30 tells us, "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it... So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. For no man ever hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord also does the assembly."

Marital intimacy goes beyond the physical; it also involves emotional and spiritual connection. We urge you both to invest time in understanding each other's needs, fears, and aspirations. Communication is key, as highlighted in Proverbs 18:2, "A fool has no delight in understanding, but only in expressing his own heart."

However, we must address that intimacy in marriage should be pure and holy, avoiding any influences of worldly lust. Hebrews 13:4 states, "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled: for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers."

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this marriage. Lord, we ask that You reignite the spark that brought them together, deepen their love, and strengthen their bond. help them to communicate effectively, understand each other's needs, and honor You in their intimacy. Lord, we rebuke any spirit of lust or impurity that may try to infiltrate their union. Bless their efforts to grow closer, and may their marriage be a testimony of Your love and faithfulness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

If you haven't already, we encourage you to invite Jesus Christ into your marriage. It's only through His name that we can find true fulfillment and success in life and relationships (John 14:6, Acts 4:12).

We've been thinking about your situation and wanted to share a verse that's been encouraging us. In 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, it says, "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." Let's strive to cultivate this kind of love in our marriages, patiently understanding and supporting each other. Let's pray for God to fill us with this love, in Jesus' name. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
