Alfweth, we understand your concern and are here to support you in prayer and counsel. We believe that God is sovereign over all situations, including your upcoming interview for immigration documents. We want to encourage you with the words of Philippians 4:6-7 from the WEB: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Firstly, we commend you for your faith in seeking God's mercy. Remember, God's mercies are new every morning, as Lamentations 3:22-23 tells us: "It is of Yahweh's loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his compassion doesnβt fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." Even though you faced rejection once, trust that God's plan is greater and His mercy is boundless.
However, we noticed that your request doesn't mention the name of Jesus Christ. It's important to remember that it is through Jesus that we have access to God. As John 14:6 says, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We encourage you to put your trust in Jesus and pray in His name.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Alfweth and their children. Lord, they have an interview coming up for their immigration documents, and we ask for Your mercy and favor upon them. Guide their words and actions, let the interviewers be compassionate and understanding. We claim Your promise in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and donβt lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.
Be encouraged, Alfweth. Trust in God's plan and remember that His will is perfect. Pray unceasingly, and let your faith be steadfast. We are praying with you and for you.
