We are so grateful to join you in prayer for your upcoming job interview. Firstly, let us remember the words of the Apostle Paul in Philippians 4:13 (WEB), "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me." It is not in our own strength, but by the power of Jesus Christ that we can overcome any challenge, including nervousness and language barriers.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear friend who is about to have a job interview. Lord, You know the anxieties and fears that can arise in such situations, and we ask for Your peace to fill their heart, as You have promised in Philippians 4:6-7, 'Don’t be anxious for anything; but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.'
Lord, we ask that You grant them the ability to communicate clearly and effectively, just as You did for Moses when You told him in Exodus 4:12, 'Now therefore go, and I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall say.' Help them to express their thoughts coherently and answer all questions with wisdom and confidence.
We also pray that this job interview will align with Your will for their life. If it is Your desire for them to have this job, we ask that You open the doors wide and grant them favor with the interviewers. But if it is not Your will, we trust that You have something even better planned for them.
Finally, we pray that our friend will grow in their faith and trust in You, Jesus Christ, knowing that it is only through Your name that we have access to God and can be saved.
In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to meditate on these scriptures and carry them in your heart as you go into the interview. Trust that God is with you, guiding your words and actions. And remember, whatever the outcome, God has a perfect plan for your life. We are here with you in spirit, supporting and praying for you.
