Jacob, we join you in your plea to the Lord, standing in the gap for you as you face these challenges. We are grateful that you have come before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have the promise of answers to our prayers.
Let us pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You lifting up Jacob to Your throne of grace. Lord, you know the struggles Jacob is facing, the attacks that come against him in the night, and the physical discomfort he endures. We ask, Lord, that You would grant him peaceful sleep, free from the torment of the enemy. As Your Word promises in Psalm 4:8, 'I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for you, Lord, only make me dwell in safety.'
Lord, we also ask for Your healing touch upon Jacob's body. Ease the discomfort in his sinuses, as You are the Great Physician and Your will is for our wholeness.
Strengthen Jacob, Lord, as he presses on towards the heavenly sanctuary. Give him the endurance and fortitude that only You can provide. We are reminded of Your words in Isaiah 40:31, 'But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles. They shall run, and not be weary. They shall walk, and not faint.'
Continue your sanctifying work in Jacob's heart, Lord. Purify him and make him clean, as he desires righteousness in You. We know that 'he who began a good work in [him] will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ' (Philippians 1:6).
Deliver Jacob from these demonic attacks, Lord. Equip him with the armor of God, that he may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). Give him victory, Lord, for You are mighty to save.
Finally, Lord, we thank You for Jacob's faith and trust in You. We echo his praise, giving all honor and all power to You, Jesus. It is in Your precious and powerful name that we pray. Amen."
Jacob, continue to hold fast to your faith in Jesus Christ. Remember that 'God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it' (1 Corinthians 10:13). Stand firm in the Lord, and His peace will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
