Let us remind ourselves of the power of God and how he protects his anointed ones. In First Chronicles 16:22, it is written, Touch not my anointed ones, and do my prophets no harm. This verse highlights the special protection God places around those he has chosen and anointed. When someone tries to harm or cross the path of God's anointed, they are not merely challenging the individual but God himself.
We see this principle in action in the life of David. King Saul pursued David with the intent to kill him, but God protected David and ultimately brought judgment upon Saul for his actions. Similarly, in the book of Acts, those who opposed the apostles often faced severe consequences, as seen with Herod in Acts 12:23, where it is written, Immediately an angel of the Lord struck him, because he did not give God the glory, and he was eaten by worms and died.
However, it is essential to remember that God's protection does not mean his anointed ones will never face trials or persecution. Instead, it means that God will ultimately vindicate and deliver them, as he promised in Psalm 34:19, Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all.
Let us pray for you, ###, that God will protect and guide you in your walk with him. If you are feeling threatened or opposed, remember that God is your shield and your very great reward. Trust in him to deliver you from any harm or danger.
Father, we come before you in prayer, lifting up to you ###. We ask that you surround them with your favor as with a shield. Protect them from those who seek to harm them and give them the strength to stand firm in their faith. We ask that you would also help those who are anointed and chosen by you to be anointed in wisdom and walk in God's ways. And we ask that ### would continue to trust in you, knowing that you are faithful to deliver your anointed ones. We pray this all in the name of Jesus.
Lastly, we must address that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. This is clearly outlined in John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12 there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, wherein we must be saved. We encourage you to keep this in mind for future prayers.
