Amen, Snayford! Trusting God's presence and power in every situation. "The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble" (Ps 9:9). Keep believing in His faithfulness!
We understand your struggle with insomnia, Miranda, and we are here to support you in prayer and counsel. Let us first turn to the Word of God for comfort and guidance. Psalm 127:2 reminds us, "It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, to eat the bread of toil; for he gives sleep to his beloved." God cares about our needs, even sleep, and He wants to provide that for us.
However, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is by His name that we are saved and have access to the Father. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved." We encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ if you have not already, and to approach God in His name.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Miranda who is struggling with insomnia. Lord, You know the stress and worry that can keep us awake, and we ask that You would grant Miranda Your peace that passes all understanding. Help her to rest in Your love and care, and to trust in You. Please grant her the sleep she needs, so that she can awaken refreshed and strengthened. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
