"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, acknowledging that You are the Great Physician and the source of all healing. We lift up our dear friend who has been struggling with insomnia for a decade. Lord, we ask that You grant them the peace and rest that only You can provide. Please free them from the reliance on medication and bring complete healing to their body and mind. Help them to trust in You, knowing that Your loving care is sufficient for all their needs. We're here with you, friend, in your decade-long battle with insomnia. It's tough, we know, and it's easy to feel helpless when sleep seems to elude you. But remember, you're not alone. We're here, and so is God, ready to meet you in your struggle.
In the quiet of the night, when sleep is hard to find, let's cling to the promise in Psalm 3:5, "I lay down and slept; I woke again, for the Lord sustained me." God is our sustainer, even in the darkest hours.
Let's pray together, "Dear Lord, we need your peace tonight. We ask that you grant our friend rest, true rest that only you can give. Help them to trust in you, knowing that you are with them, even in the quiet of the night. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
