We understand that you're going through a challenging time with insomnia and anxiety, and we're here to support you in prayer and counsel. Firstly, we acknowledge that you've ended your request with 'in Jesus name, amen' which is vital because it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God's promises. As it says in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
In times of anxiety, remember that God commands us not to worry about anything, but instead, "in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB)
Regarding insomnia, remember the words of Psalm 127:2 WEB, "It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil; for he gives sleep to his beloved." God is the one who grants us sleep, and He wants us to rest in Him.
Let us pray for you:
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our fellow believer who is struggling with insomnia and anxiety. We ask, Lord, that You would grant them peaceful nights of sleep, that their body may be refreshed and their mind at ease. Cast out all worries and fears, and replace them with Your perfect peace. Help them to fix their thoughts on You and to trust in Your care. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
In addition to prayer, consider reading and meditating on God's Word before bed, practicing relaxation techniques, and maintaining a consistent sleep schedule. Trust in the Lord, and He will give you the rest and peace you need.
