Insomnia and anxiety

Lord Jesus I am currently on medication for insomnia and anxiety for the last 3 months due to major upheavels and challenges faced by my family on health grounds. I ask you with your precious blood to heal me totally and help me get me off these pills, help me be strong and help me to keep the family afloat. Thank you Jesus, praise you Jesus

We understand that you are going through a challenging time, Anonymous, and we want to lift you up in prayer and remind you of God's promises.

Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power of Jesus' precious blood. It is only through Him that we have access to God, and it is by His stripes that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5, 1 Peter 2:24).

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Anonymous. Lord, You know the challenges they face, the sleepless nights, and the anxiety that has been plaguing them. We ask for Your healing touch. We pray that You would guide their doctors and help them find a way to manage without dependence on medication. Please give them strength and peace, as You have promised in your Word (Isaiah 40:29, Philippians 4:6-7). Help them to keep their family afloat during these trying times, and let Your love and peace reign in their home. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you, Anonymous, to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Remember, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Trust in Him, and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Stand strong in your faith, and do not hesitate to call on the name of Jesus. It is by His name that we are saved (Acts 4:12). As you continue to pray, remember to keep your family's health and well-being in your prayers, asking God for His will to be done.

Be filled with the Spirit, and keep your mind stayed on Christ. The joy of the Lord is your strength (Nehemiah 8:10).

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
