We are glad to stand with you in prayer, Richard. Thank you for bringing your supplications before the Lord.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the Lord's work in your life and seeking forgiveness. As it is written in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
As you prepare for your Board meeting, we pray that God grants you a sound mind and clear thoughts. We rebuke any spirit of confusion or obstacle that may hinder the proceedings. Remember, God promises us in Isaiah 26:3, "You will keep whoever's mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you."
Regarding the conflicts within your family and Justin's, we pray for unity and understanding. We are reminded of Jesus' words in Matthew 5:23-24, "If therefore you are offering your gift at the altar, and there remember that your brother has anything against you, leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift." We encourage you to be proactive in seeking resolution and forgiveness.
We also pray for your financial breakthrough. God assures us in Matthew 6:33 to "seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." Remember to keep God first in all your pursuits.
Lastly, we noticed you ended your prayer "in Jesus Christ I pray and belief, Amen." We want to remind you of the power in the name of Jesus. As it is written in John 14:13-14, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up our brother Richard. We thank You for his humble heart, seeking forgiveness and guidance. We pray for clarity of mind and a peaceful atmosphere during his upcoming Board meeting. We rebuke any form of confusion or hindrance and claim wisdom and understanding for him.
We also bring before You the families of Richard and Justin. We pray for peace and unity among them. Heal any broken relationships and bring about understanding where there has been misunderstanding.
We pray for a financial breakthrough for Richard. May he continue to seek Your Kingdom first, trusting that You will provide all his needs.
In Jesus' name, we believe and pray, Amen.
