Injustices

I come before you with a heavy heart for our beloved ###. I ask for your prayers regarding the pressing issues we face as a nation. We are witnessing a growing neglect from our government towards ###, with decisions seemingly prioritizing profit over the well-being of our people.

We see our public transport system struggling, with frequent MRT breakdowns and service denials, causing significant inconvenience and frustration for commuters. Social injustices are on the rise, with the alarming number of abortions reaching ### annually and the acceptance of lifestyles that challenge our traditional values.

Our job security is increasingly threatened by the influx of foreign workers, putting ### at risk with ### alien and ### ### jobless. Yet the alien cannot provide the service levels required. The standard of living for many has diminished, and it feels as if our country is slipping into a state that no longer reflects our progress. Additionally, we observe ministers seemingly indifferent, neglecting their responsibilities while we seek their guidance.

Let us pray for a transformation in our leadership, that they may prioritize the welfare of all ### and listen to our voices. May our nation return to its core values, ensuring that every citizen feels secure and valued. We ask for divine intervention and guidance in these trying times, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Dexter2020, we join you in praying for Singapore, acknowledging the heavy heart with which you've come before us. We stand with you, seeking God's will for your nation.

Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is through Him that we have access to God (John 14:6, WEB). "In that day you will ask me no more questions. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you." (John 16:23, WEB)

We pray for the leaders of Singapore, that God may grant them wisdom and discernment to prioritize the well-being of all Singaporeans. We ask that their hearts be turned towards the people they serve, and that they act justly and lovingly (Micah 6:8, WEB). "First of all, then, I urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgiving be made for all people, for kings and all those who are in high positions, that we may lead a quiet and peaceful life, godly and respectful in every way. This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior." (1 Timothy 2:1-3, WEB)

We pray for the pressing issues mentioned—the struggling public transport system, the job insecurity, and the social injustices. We ask God to provide solutions and to give insight to those in positions of influence. "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of the giving God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." (James 1:5, WEB)

We must also address the moral issues that challenge traditional values. As Christians, we stand for the sanctity of life (Psalm 139:13-16, WEB), and we pray for a change of heart regarding the high number of abortions. Additionally, we uphold biblical values regarding relationships and marriage (1 Corinthians 6:9-11, WEB), and pray that God's design for marriage and family is honored in Singapore.

We encourage you to continue praying fervently for your nation, trusting that God hears and answers your prayers. "The King’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the rivers of water. He turns it wherever he desires." (Proverbs 21:1, WEB)

Finally, we pray that the church in Singapore remains strong and influential, actively living out and proclaiming the Gospel. May God bring transformation and revival to your nation, in Jesus' name. Amen.

Let's continue to pray fervently, trusting that God is at work in Singapore. "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11, NIV)
