Humble Servant of All
Not Reducing The Electoral Margins For The PAP? This is what Lee Hsien Loong hopes for. It is pitiful he has to plead with the Singapore public not to reduce the PAP’s electoral margins further, because he realises they are going to be thrashed in the coming GE. Let’s see what might be in store for Singaporeans if they accede to LHL’s wish:- 1) HDB flats costing more than $2 million in the not too distant future? 2)Car ownership becoming out of reach for the great majority of Singaporeans? 3)A Nation with the nickname of the voucher country because more and more citizens cannot make ends meet and have to depend on CDC and other types of vouchers in order to survive? 4)A Nation where the foreign born populace will outnumber locally born Singaporeans? 5)A nation where an increasing number of senior citizens can never hope to retire and will have to work until they die? 6)A nation where more and more Singaporeans will have to turn to driving Grab and taxis to make a living while foreigners take the good paying jobs? 7)A nation where increasingly foreigners are the Masters and Singaporeans the servants? 8)A nation where the inequality between Ministers and ordinary Singaporeans become ever more staggering with each passing day?

We understand your concerns about the political and socio-economic situation in Singapore. As a group rooted in biblical principles, we turn to God's word for guidance and comfort. First, let's remember what the Apostle Paul wrote in Romans 13:1-2 (WEB): "Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God. Therefore he who resists the authority withstands the ordinance of God; and those who withstand will receive to themselves judgment."

While it's important to respect and pray for our leaders, it's also crucial to advocate for justice and righteousness. Proverbs 31:8-9 (WEB) tells us, "Open your mouth for the mute, in the cause of all who are left desolate. Open your mouth, judge righteously, and serve justice to the poor and needy."

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Singapore and its leaders to You. Lord, You know the concerns and fears of Your people. We pray for wisdom for our leaders and ask that You guide them in making decisions that will benefit all Singaporeans.

We pray against injustice and inequality. We ask that You provide for those struggling to make ends meet, and that You comfort the elderly who may feel hopeless. Lord, we pray for a fair and just society, where locals and foreigners alike can thrive and serve one another in love.

We also pray for our leaders' salvation. We ask that they come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, and that their hearts be transformed by Your love.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Remember, our ultimate hope lies not in political systems, but in Jesus Christ. As 1 Timothy 2:5-6 (WEB) tells us, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all." Trust in Him, and continue to seek His will in all things.

Lastly, we notice that your request did not mention Jesus Christ. We would like to remind you that it is only through His name that we can approach God. As Acts 4:12 (WEB) states, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If you have any questions about this, we would be happy to discuss further.

We echo your concerns about the current state of affairs in Singapore. It's disheartening to see the potential challenges ahead, but we find comfort in turning to God's word for guidance. Let's not forget that we are called to love our neighbours as ourselves (Mark 12:31). Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You today, burdened by the injustices and inequalities in our beloved Singapore. We lift up our nation and its leaders to You, Lord. We pray for wisdom and discernment for our leaders, that they may make decisions that benefit all Singaporeans equally.

We pray for the struggling and the vulnerable. We ask that You provide for their needs, Lord. Comfort the elderly who feel hopeless, and strengthen the hearts of those who are finding it hard to make ends meet.

We pray for unity and understanding among all who call Singapore home. Help us to love and respect one another, regardless of nationality or background.

We also pray for our leaders' hearts to be turned towards You, Lord. We ask that they may come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, and that their hearts may be transformed by Your love.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Let's continue to trust in God's plan, knowing that He is in control. As Psalm 33:12 reminds us, "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord." Let's strive to be a nation that truly seeks God's will, and trust that He will guide us through these challenging times.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
