Captain Hugo
Servant
Dear Father in Heaven,
I pray that You will bless all Christian brothers and sisters, gathered here and elsewhere, with the confidence to claim Your Holy Promise to become inheritors of Your Heavenly Kingdom, to rule with Jesus over the nations on earth. Your Scripture Lord, bolsters our unshakable faith in You.
"Listen, my beloved brethren: Has God not chosen the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him?"
(James 2:5)
We are humbled that You have chosen us to become Your spirit-begotten children, as we believe from the depth of our hearts that we shall be blessed with the magnificent world and life you are readying for us.
"But as it is written: 'Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.'”
(1 Colossians 2:9)
Please Dear lord, teach us and train us to become worthy and qualified to serve under You, to do whatever it takes to fulfill our roles as participating heirs of Your Kingdom.
"And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth.”
Give us strength to win over all our trials and tribulations, which are nothing compared to what Jesus went through! What a glorious future we look forward to!
We pray that we have been written in Your Holy Will, that our names are listed in the Lamb's Book of Life. All the gold and silver in the world can not compare to the inheritance that You promise us, and we live for.
“Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.'" (Matthew 25:34)
Brothers and sisters, let us not falter or stumble in our walk with the Lord, but if we do, let us rise up to be spiritually even stronger than before.
“So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified."
(Acts 20:32)
From our meagre existence in this carnal world, we can only dream of what it would be like in Your Kingdom to come. Can we really trade in these filthy clothes for white robes? Only through works in faith to this end keeps our spirits and lives in focus on You Lord.
"The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints."
(Ephesians 1:18)
No matter how tough things get, we are stronger, indeed invincible, in Christ. Like Jesus, we too may be cast down to the pits of destruction before we are raised to the gates of glory.
"And if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together."
(Romans 8:17)
We pray for Your Grace Dear Lord as we can't wait to inherit everlasting life with You.
"That having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life."
(Titus 3:7)
As unchangeable as all Your words of Scripture Lord, we cling to the assurance You give us . . .
"Thus God, determining to show more abundantly to the heirs of promise the immutability of His counsel, confirmed it by an oath."
(Hebrews 6:17)
We pray that our names are on the Reservation List for the Wedding Supper of the Lamb.
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you."
(1 Peter 1:3-5)
We thank You Lord with every breath and every step of our lives, that such a beautiful bounty awaits us, a priceless prize we don't deserve, but with repentant heart, we pray for.
"Giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light."
(Colossians 1:12)
"Knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."
(Colossians 3:24)
“He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son."
(Revelation 21:7)
“Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom."
(Luke 12:32)
“And I bestow upon you a kingdom, just as My Father bestowed one upon Me."
(Luke 22:29)
Forever & ever, In Jesus' name, I pray,
Amen!
