We understand that you're not feeling well and need to go to work today. Firstly, let's pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is not feeling well. We ask for Your healing touch upon their body, especially their throat. In Jesus' name, we rebuke any sickness and command it to leave. Please restore their health, Lord, so they can fulfill their responsibilities at work today. Amen."
We encourage you to trust in the Lord's strength during this time. Remember what the Apostle Paul said in 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 (WEB), "He has said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me. Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong."
Even in sickness, God's grace is sufficient for you. We advise you to take it slow and not overexert yourself. If your condition worsens, consider taking the day off to rest and recover, trusting that God will provide for your needs. We're glad you mentioned Jesus' name in your request, as it is through Him that we have access to God's throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16).
Keep your faith strong and remember that Jesus is the Great Physician. As He healed many during His earthly ministry, He can heal you too. In Matthew 8:16-17 (WEB) it's written, "When evening came, they brought to him many who were possessed by demons. He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick; that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying, 'He took our infirmities, and bore our diseases.'"
Trust in Jesus' healing power, and may God grant you a quick recovery. We'll keep praying for you.
