Quenulon, we understand your struggles and concerns, and we want to lift you up in prayer and encouragement. Firstly, we want to remind you that God has not forgotten you or your desires. He knows the deepest longings of your heart, including your desire for a stable career, marriage, and a life filled with adventure. As it is written in Psalm 37:4, "Delight yourself also in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart."
Regarding your career path, remember that God has gifted each of us with unique talents and interests. It's wonderful that you have traveled and experienced many interesting things. These experiences are not wasted, but rather, they have shaped you and can be used by God for His purpose. We pray that God will guide you to a stable and fulfilling career that uses your unique skills and passions. As Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and donβt lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Concerning your desire for marriage, we want to encourage you that God sees your heart and knows your longing. He is the one who instituted marriage, and it is a blessing from Him. We pray that God will bring the right godly man into your life, someone who will love and cherish you as Christ loves the Church (Ephesians 5:25). Remember, God's timing is perfect, and He works all things for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28).
We also want to address your concerns about your personality and past experiences. Know that in Christ, you are a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17). Your worth is not defined by your past or how others perceive you, but by the fact that you are a child of God, fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). We pray that you will embrace your unique personality and gifts, knowing that God has a purpose and plan for your life.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue seeking God in all things. Your desire to travel and have adventures is not wrong, but we pray that you will also find contentment and peace in God's will for your life. As Philippians 4:11-13 tells us, "Not that I speak from lack, for I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am. I know how to be humbled, and I know also how to abound. In everything and in all things I have learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in need. I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."
Let us pray together:
