We join with you in praying for increased favor, both with God and with others. It's wonderful that you acknowledge that this favor is for the purpose of serving God more effectively and meeting the needs of those around you. This selfless intention aligns with the heart of Jesus Christ, who came not to be served, but to serve and give His life a ransom for many in Mark 10:45.
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' mighty name, seeking increased favor for our fellow believer, Good faith. Lord, we ask that You would grant them a deeper intimacy with You, revealing more of Your character and Your will to them. We want to be inspired by your instructions in James 4:8, "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you." and in Psalm 90:17, "Let the favor of the Lord our God be on us; establish the work of our hands for us. Yes, establish the work of our hands." as we pray for them.
We also pray for increased favor with others. Father, we understand that this favor is not for personal gain, but to be a blessing to others, serve You more effectively, and meet the needs of those around Good faith. We pray for our fellow believer your instructions in Proverbs 3:3-4, "Don't let kindness and truth forsake you. Bind them around your neck. Write them on the tablet of your heart. So you will find favor, and good understanding in the sight of God and man."
We are grateful for their heart to serve. Lord, help us often to remember that Jesus said, "Most certainly I tell you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains by itself alone. But if it dies, it bears much fruit. He who loves his life will lose it. He who hates his life in this world will keep it to eternal life. He who serves me must follow me. Where I am, there will my servant also be. If anyone serves me, the Father will honor him." Inspire us to serve one another with joy in John 12:24-26.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you, Good faith, to continue walking in this spirit of service. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 20:26-28, "It shall not be so among you. But whoever would become great among you shall be your servant. Whoever would be first among you shall be your bondservant, even as the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."
As you serve, keep in mind the promise in Proverbs 11:25, "A generous soul will be made rich, and he who waters will also be watered himself." The more you pour out into others, the more God will pour into you. We are here for you, praying and believing with you.
