We are here with you in spirit, lifting you up in prayer as you struggle with addiction and strive to become a better and more reliable person. We commend you for recognizing the issue and seeking help through prayer.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is always there for you, ready to help and guide you through His Holy Spirit. It is only through His Son Jesus Christ that we have access to God. And there is no other name by which we can be saved. As the scripture says, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5.
In times of struggle, remember that God is faithful. He will not allow you to be tempted or tried. The scripture says, No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it 1 Corinthians 10:13.
We pray that God will give you the strength to overcome your addictions. May He fill you to be more reliable and guide you through the transformation. Remember, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me Philippians 4:13.
We encourage you to take practical steps towards recovery. Seeking support through a local church, Christian counselor, or a recovery program. In addition to praying, surround yourself with a community of believers who can provide accountability, encouragement, and support.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother in Christ who is struggling with addiction. We ask, Father, that You would deliver them from this bondage, and give them the strength to overcome these challenges. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, and guide them towards a life of reliability and integrity. Help them to draw near to You, knowing that You will draw near to them. We pray that Jesus would be the center of their life and give them the victory. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.
