Thank you, Sulinanaki, for sharing your concerns and your faith with us. We stand with you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, holding on to His unchanging hands.
Firstly, we commend your steadfast faith in the Lord. As it is written in Hebrews 10:23, "Let's hold firmly to the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful." We trust that God is in control, even in the midst of your trials.
We understand that you are standing in faith for your wife's return and we join you in prayer. Psalm 37:5 reminds us to "commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this." We pray that God will make a way where there seems to be no way, and that He will protect and guide your wife during her stay in the UK.
We also want to address your health. We are concerned about your high blood pressure and stress. Remember, God cares about your physical health too. 3 John 1:2 says, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers." We pray for your healing and for the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
However, we want to gently remind you that the core of our faith is Christ Jesus. We noticed that your request did not mention His name explicitly. It is by His name that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We encourage you to keep your focus on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).
Lastly, we want to reassure you that we are standing with you in prayer against the schemes of the devil. As James 4:7 says, "Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We declare that no weapon formed against you will prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ. We thank You for Your unchanging hands that hold Sulinanaki and his wife. We pray for her safe return and for Your divine intervention in their situation. We pray for Sulinanaki's health, that You will heal him and grant him Your peace. We rebuke the devil and his schemes, and we declare that You, Lord, are in control. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
