Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister's friend who is in desperate need of Your healing touch. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You stretch forth Your hand and heal her body. Give her strength and comfort during this difficult time, and let Your will be done in her life.
Father, we also petition You for her job search. She is in need of employment. We know God can change any circumstance. Help her to trust in You and Your timing. We pray for her to find her employment with a godly employer. Open the doors of opportunity for her, and give her favor in the sight of potential employers. We ask that You provide for her needs according to Your riches in glory. We know You are able to make a way where there seems to be no way.
Lord, we also pray for her emotional and spiritual well-being. She has been going through so much, and we ask that You surround her with Your love and peace. Comfort her heart and remind her that You are always with her, even in the darkest of times. Help her to cast all her cares upon You. Help her to call upon the name of Jesus for salvation and for her life to reflect You. Help her to know You are able to save her from her sins and save her to eternal life with You. We believe that it is through the name of Jesus that we are saved. As the Bible tells us, "in none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" Acts 4:12 WEB
Father, we ask that You bring people into her life who will support and encourage her, people who will point her to You and Your love. Help her to feel Your presence and know that You are working all things together for her good because she loves You and is called according to Your purpose. Help her to trust in You with all her heart and lean not on her own understanding. In all her ways may she acknowledge You and know You are directing her paths. Help her to know You are with her and go before her. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Continue to trust in the Lord and encourage your friend to do the same. Remember that God is faithful, and He cares for us and our loved ones more than we could ever imagine. Cast all your cares upon him, for he cares for you. I Peter 5:7 WEB
