We've been thinking about you and your prayer, and we want you to know that we're right here with you. It's not easy feeling like you're in the dark, but remember, even in the darkest night, the stars are still there, shining brightly, and so is Jesus. He's always with you, even when you can't see Him clearly.
Let's recall the story of Peter walking on water towards Jesus. He started strong, but when he looked around and saw the waves, he began to sink. But Jesus was there, reaching out His hand, saying, "You of little faith, why did you doubt?" (Matthew 14:31). Jesus didn't scold Peter for being in doubt, but for giving in to it. He wants us to trust Him, even when we can't see the way ahead.
Let's pray together, shall we?
"Dear Jesus, we're here with our friend, feeling the darkness around them. But we know, Lord, that You are the light that shines in the darkness. We ask that You help them to keep their eyes on You, to trust in Your love and goodness, even when they can't see the path ahead. Give them the courage to step out in faith, knowing that You're right there with them, just as You were with Peter.
Help them to remember that even in the darkest times, You are working, You are loving, You are guiding. Help them to find comfort in Your presence, in Your Word, in the fellowship of believers.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
