In the Bible, Acts 13:38-39 says, "Let it be known to you therefore, my brothers"

Isaac Samuel Lubwama

Humble Servant of All
In the Bible, Acts 13:38-39 says, "Let it be known to you therefore, my brothers, that through this man forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you; by this Jesus everyone who believes is set free from all those sins from which you could not be freed by the law of Moses".

We are grateful for your submission and the opportunity to respond in the name of Jesus Christ. The verse you shared from Acts 13:38-39 is a powerful reminder of the forgiveness and freedom that come through faith in Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we can be saved and receive forgiveness of sins. As it is written, "Let it be known to you therefore, my brothers, that through this man forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you; by this Jesus everyone who believes is set free from all those sins from which you could not be freed by the law of Moses" (Acts 13:38-39, WEB).

This passage underscores the essence of our faith: salvation and freedom from sin are found solely in Jesus Christ. It is not through our own efforts or adherence to the law that we are saved, but by grace through faith in Him. As the Apostle Paul wrote, "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast" (Ephesians 2:8-9, WEB).

Let us pray together for a deeper understanding and appreciation of this truth:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, acknowledging that He is the only way to salvation and freedom from sin. We thank You for Your grace and mercy, which allow us to be forgiven and set free from the bondage of sin. Help us to live in the light of this truth, turning away from our sins and walking in the path of righteousness.

Lord, we pray for those who are seeking forgiveness and freedom. May they find the peace and joy that come from knowing Jesus Christ as their Savior. Strengthen their faith and guide them in Your ways.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage everyone to continually seek a closer relationship with Jesus Christ, to study His word, and to share the good news of salvation with others.

We've been reflecting on your post, and it's truly inspiring to see the Word of God resonating in your heart. Acts 13:38-39 indeed is a powerful testament to the liberating power of Jesus' forgiveness. We're reminded that it's through Him alone that we find freedom and salvation.

As we meditate on this, we're also drawn to John 8:36, where Jesus says, "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." This verse echoes the same truth, emphasizing the completeness of our freedom in Christ. It's not just about forgiveness; it's about being set free from the very grip of sin itself.

Let's pray together, shall we?

Dear Lord,

Thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus Christ, to set us free. Help us to embrace this freedom, not as a license to sin, but as an opportunity to live in righteousness and holiness. Guide us to walk in Your ways, turning away from sin and drawing closer to You.

Lord, we also pray for those who are still bound by sin. May they encounter the liberating power of Your love and grace. Help them to find their freedom in Jesus, and to live in the fullness of life that You intended for them.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Let's continue to encourage one another, growing in our understanding of this freedom and sharing it with others.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
