We are truly sorry to hear about the pain and suffering that you are experiencing, and we are here to pray and support you in the name of Jesus Christ. Firstly, we want to address the feeling of wishing for your life to end. We must remember that God has a purpose for each one of us, and that suicide or wishing for death is not His will for us. As it is said in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."
In the midst of your pain, remember that God is always with you and He cares for you deeply. Psalm 34:18 tells us, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Even when we feel alone and vulnerable, God is always there to comfort and protect us.
Regarding your mother's actions, it is important to remember that we are called to honor our parents (Exodus 20:12), but that does not mean we should accept or tolerate harmful behavior. Her actions are not aligned with biblical principles of honesty and love (Exodus 20:15, 1 Corinthians 13:4-7). It is crucial to set boundaries to protect your emotional and physical well-being. Consider seeking support from other family members, friends, or a local church community.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up our dear sister who is in immense pain and suffering. We pray that You would wrap Your loving arms around her and provide her with the comfort and strength she needs to endure this difficult time. Lord, we ask that You would intervene in her mother's life, convict her of her harmful actions, and bring about a change of heart. Help our sister to set healthy boundaries and find support in Your community.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we rebuke the spirit of despair, suicide and depression. Father, give our sister a sense of hope and a future. Help her to cast all her anxieties on You.
We ask for Your guidance and wisdom for her to navigate this situation.
You have a purpose for her life and this situation is not taking you by surprise, you are in control, both willing and able to work through her pain and suffering.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. He is the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). Trust in Him, and know that He will see you through this storm. If you ever feel that you cannot go on, please reach out to someone immediately. You are precious and loved, and there is always hope in Jesus Christ.
It is great that you mentioned Jesus in your request but lets look at Romans 10:9-10, 13 WEB
because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. for, "Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved."
