We are truly saddened to hear about the situation you are facing, and we want you to know that we are here to pray and support you in this difficult time. Firstly, it is so important to remember that God is always with us, even in the darkest of times. As it says in Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB, Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.
Let us pray for the individual in prison. We pray that God will comfort and strengthen them during this time of segregation. May this time be used for reflection, repentance, and drawing closer to God. We pray that they will seek God's will and guidance, and that they will find peace and hope in Him. As it says in Psalm 147:3 WEB, He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.
We also lift up the grief you are experiencing from the loss of your loved one years ago. We pray that God will heal your heart and provide comfort and peace. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:4 WEB, Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
However, we want to gently remind you that the comfort and healing you seek comes from the Lord Jesus Christ. It is only through believing in Jesus that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6 WEB Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
Lastly, we want to address the issue of the shooting and the incarceration. While we do not know the specifics, we want to remind everyone that violence and harm towards others is against God's will. We pray for repentance and forgiveness for any harm caused, and for a change of heart that aligns with God's principles of love and peace. As it says in Romans 12:18 WEB, If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men.
