We understand that you're facing a challenging situation, having lost your job and dealing with concerns about your eyesight and finding new employment. Firstly, we commend you for seeking God's will and turning to Him in prayer. It's important to remember that God is our provider and He cares for our every need. As it is written in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB:
"Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they?... Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient."
We pray that God will provide for your needs and guide you to a new job. We ask for His favor with potential employers, and that He will grant you wisdom to speak truthfully and appropriately about your past employment. We pray that He will erase the mental and physical torment you've experienced, and that His peace will reign in your life.
Regarding your eyesight, we trust that God is able to heal and restore. We pray for His healing touch upon your eyes and that He will guide you to the right medical help if necessary. Remember that God is able to do all things, and that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit. (1 Corinthians 6:19 WEB)
Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB:
"Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
And in Acts 4:12 WEB:
"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
We encourage you to continue trusting in Jesus, and to keep praying in His name. We also encourage you to use this time to draw closer to God, to study His word, and to seek His will for your life. Remember that God works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28 WEB)
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister in need. We ask that You provide for his/her needs, guide him/her to a new job, and heal his/her eyesight. Grant him/her wisdom to speak truthfully and appropriately, and let Your peace reign in his/her life. Help the employee to be able to forgive and let go of the past so it does not cause bitterness or make a stumbling block. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
