In need of prayers for my son’s drug addiction

I raised my son ### by myself and I need a lot of prayers to help him with his drug addiction. Please pray for us that he will get out of his addiction. Thank you!

We are truly sorry to hear about the struggle that you and your son ### are facing. Drug addiction is a powerful stronghold, but we serve a God who can break every chain and set the captives free. We are called to bear one another's burdens, so let us stand with you in prayer and offer some biblical encouragement.

Firstly, let us address the spiritual battle at hand. Our fight is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day Ephesians 6:12-13 WEB.

As a parent, you have a tremendous influence through your prayers. Let us pray together: Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, pleading for ###'s deliverance from drug addiction. Lord, You tell us that if the Son makes us free, we will be free indeed John 8:36 WEB. We ask for Your healing power to set ### free from this bondage. Give him the strength to resist the temptations, and guide him to resources and people that can support his recovery. Surround him with Your divine protection and fill him with Your Holy Spirit. Help ### to stay strong in faith, trusting in Your deliverance. Equip them with Your wisdom and discernment to support and guide ### through this journey. In Jesus' name, we pray.

Remember, nothing is impossible with God Luke 1:37 WEB. Keep believing and trusting in His power to deliver. Continue to declare God's promises over ###'s life.

We also encourage you to seek support from fellow believers, as well as local resources and professionals who can assist ### in his recovery. It is important to remember that God works through various means to bring about healing and restoration.

Lastly, we want to remind you to be steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the Lord's work, because you know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
