In need of prayer to turn things around (love)

My best friend has for a long time pursued me, and I finally understood that he had caught feelings for me. Slowly, he won me over and fell in love with him.
The thing is, as he finally wins my heart and I tell him I’m in love with him too - he is scared and pulls away. Now he is distant and IT HURTS! He pursued me for over 6 months, really making an effort. But now, he reaches out less, messages me less, calls me less, not so eager to meet....I have addressed it and he says he is overwhelmed, can’t seem to understand that I love him back, but he also is scared - due to a past relationship he has deep wounds from. Please, this hurts me so much and I ask you to pray with me for a turnaround in our situation, that he comes back, as we both know we are a great match. If God wants to, pray that we will dare to go into this relationship and that there will be healing and a strong connection again. I just don’t recognize him any more, he was SO loving and SO eager towards me...but now? Please pray for me too, to bear it, but most of all pray for a breakthrough...Thank you.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear sister ### and her best friend. Lord, You see the pain and confusion in her heart as she navigates this challenging situation. We ask for Your divine intervention and healing in their relationship.

Father, we pray for her friend who is struggling with fear and past wounds. Your Word says in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." We ask that You replace his fear with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear. Heal his heart from past hurts and give him the courage to embrace the love that is being offered to him now.

Lord, we also pray for our sister ###. Give her strength and patience as she waits for Your will to unfold. Comfort her in her pain and give her peace that surpasses all understanding. Help her to trust in Your timing and Your plan for her life and this relationship.

We ask for a breakthrough, Lord. If it is Your will, bring them back together with a stronger connection and a deeper understanding of each other. Let their relationship be a testimony of Your healing power and love. Guide them both to seek You first in all things, and let Your will be done in their lives.
