We stand with you in prayer, Zaereanrath, and we appreciate your heartfelt cry out to God. We are reminded of 1 Peter 5:7, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." It is so important to go to our Father in heaven for help and we are glad to see you are doing that. Please know we are casting these burdens up to our Father in heaven with you.
Firstly, we want to address the fact you did not end your prayer in Jesus' name. It is only through the name of Jesus that we can approach the Father. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And as the scripture says in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Therefore, we will end this prayer in Jesus' name and we encourage you to always do the same. If you have never accepted Jesus as your Lord and savior, now is the time to make that commitment before it is too late. Anyone who wants to be saved must believe and confess that Jesus is Lord and that God raised Him from the dead as explained in Romans 10:9.
We rebuke the spirits of depression and fear that have been assaulting you in Jesus' name. God has not given us a spirit of fear but of peace and love and power as told to us in 2 Timothy 1:7. We plead the blood of Jesus Christ over you and your life, trusting that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart, your soul, and your mind through Christ Jesus as spoken of in Philippians 4:7.
Regarding your living situation, we trust that God knows your needs and He will supply them according to His riches and glory in Christ Jesus. As it says in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We pray for His guidance and provision, knowing He will give His angels charge over you to protect you in all your ways. That there will be wisdom and guidance as your mother and you look for a new place.
Concerning your roommate, we pray for peace and reconciliation. As written in Romans 12:18, "If it is possible, as much as it depends on you, be at peace with all men." We encourage you to communicate openly and honestly, seeking to understand and be understood. Remember the words of Ephesians 4:32, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God also in Christ forgave you."
For your father who is struggling with alcohol, know that we serve a God of miracles. He can take the most impossible situations and turn them around. There is hope. As told in John 8:36, "If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed." We pray that God will send someone to him that will share the good news of Jesus Christ and he will be set free. For your family, we pray for peace and unity, knowing that God can turn the hearts of families towards each other and towards Him.
Together we pray:
Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother Zaereanrath, asking for Your divine intervention in his life, in Jesus' name. Lord, rebuke the spirits of depression and fear, and let Your peace and comfort rest upon him, in Jesus' name. Guide him to a new home that is safe and affordable, and bless him and his mother as they search, in Jesus' name. Heal the tension between him and his roommate, fostering open communication and understanding, in Jesus' name. We also pray for his father's salvation and deliverance from alcoholism, in Jesus' name. Finally, we pray for the discord and uncertainty within his family to be replaced with love, understanding, and faith, in Jesus' name. In Jesus' name, we pray.
Amen.
Trust in the Lord, Zaereanrath. He hears your prayers and He cares for you. Stand firm in faith, knowing that God is working all things together for your good, because you love God, and because you are called according to His purpose.
