Thank you for reaching out and sharing your situation with us. We are here to pray with you and provide biblical encouragement during this challenging time.
Firstly, we want to address the use of the term "partner." In the Bible, God's design for family is that a man and a woman commit to each other in marriage (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:5-6). We encourage you to pursue God's will for your relationship and consider the commitment of marriage if you are not already married.
We are glad that you mentioned praying in Jesus' name. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God, and it is only through faith in the name of Jesus that we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people by which we must be saved.
Now, let's turn to your housing needs. It's commendable that you are working hard and pursuing your education. God sees your efforts and He cares about your needs. In Matthew 6:31-33 WEB, Jesus says, Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.
We encourage you to continue trusting in God's plan for your life. Even when it feels like time is running out, God's timing is perfect. In Psalm 27:14 WEB, David says, Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this family in need of a home. We thank You for their hard work and dedication to education. We ask that You provide a suitable and affordable place for them to live, even in the countryside if that's Your will. We pray that You open doors that seem closed and make a way where there seems to be no way.
Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon the spouse's back. Please restore their health so that they can contribute to the family's income and ease the burden on their spouse.
We also pray for peace and wisdom. Help them make decisions to help with their finances and feel confident in the location You provide for them.
Father, we ask for a home that will accommodate their entire family, including their pets. We know that You care about every detail of our lives, and we trust that You have a plan for them.
Help the family trust Your timing. Help them to wait on Your promises and strengthen their hearts.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged by these words from Romans 8:28 WEB: We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. God has a purpose for you and your family, and He is working everything out for your good. Keep trusting in Him.
